When You Leave
Discharge
Please go to Reception before you are discharged. The reception staff will have:
- your claim form ready for signing; and
- accounts for additional charges not covered by your health insurance, including telephone, which are payable on discharge. We accept cash, personal cheque, credit card or EFTPOS (direct payments only, not cash withdrawals
On the morning of your discharge; your nurse will have ready for you:
- medication and instruction;
- clinical discharge questionnaires
- patient satisfaction questionnaire;
- any necessary follow up appointments.
You are required to vacate your room by 10.30 am. However, you are permitted to stay at New Farm Clinic for the remainder of the day. Please see nursing staff to arrange storage of your belongings.
