Dr Mahdod Eftekar is a senior lecturer the University of Queensland and works as a psychiatrist at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and New Farm Clinic.
Dr Eftekar trained in psychiatry at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane. He then pursued subspecialty training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry which is the interface between psychological and medical health.
